The Public Sector Select List is an online procurement system for the public sector and their suppliers in the UK.  The system includes the  Public Sector Select List Supplier Information Database, which records company information relevant to public sector procurement needs, and the Tenders Gateway for publishing and searching for available contract and tender notices.  Public Sector buyers access the system via the Internet, to publish contract and tender notices, request expressions of interest, as well as to search the database for suitable suppliers and use a variety of online tools designed to help them manage and short list suppliers and potential suppliers. 

Suppliers also have access to online tools to manage their account - create entries on the Public Sector Select List, change or update details, receive messages from interested parties, access the Tenders Gateway to search for contract and tender information, Set alerts to automatically send notice of contracts and tenders of interest to email, plus many other features and benefits.

No charge is made to public sector buyers for their use of the service. 

Public Sector buyers have access to online tools to help them which include account management, tenders and contract advertising, messaging facilities, short-listing tools to create an online Select List of suppliers, printable supplier information, location maps, on-line support, e-tenders search and information retrieval.

Companies listed on the Public Sector Select List offer a wide variety of products and services. To to be successful as a supplier in this market you need to be competitive, reliable and produce good quality results. A sound financial footing and good reputation, coupled with the ability to work with Government purchasing procedures is a must.  You can create a new online supplier account and register your interest for inclusion on the Public Sector Select List by clicking Supplier Registration.

Suppliers can register their interest to receive additional information about the Public Sector Select List and create an online account by clicking Supplier Registration.  Once registered you can access an online account area, when logged in you can easily create a new entry on the Public Sector Select List for your company using the 'New Entry Wizard'.    Inclusion on the Public Sector Select List will not guarantee invitation to tender. Your account area allows you to manage your listing, change or update your entry at anytime, receive messages from interested parties in your inbox, access the Tenders Gateway to search for available contracts and tenders, contact online support, use our e-tender system to receive additional contract and tender information via email, plus many other features and benefits.  Your access to the Tenders Gateway allows you to retrieve up to 5 tender notices via email per month included.  Additional document credits can be purchased. The entire Public Sector Select List system is updated periodically provided you 'opt in' to receive an update when registering, we will send additional information and inform you of update/renewal periods.

The Public Sector Select List is funded by the organisations listed in the Supplier Information Database, no public sector money is required as these companies meet the running costs of the service. The Public Sector Select List system utilises 'broad matching' technology that causes results to be displayed if the user types a keyword into the search box, even if the user includes any part of a keyword or suppliers category. This now allows for broader supplier categories or product/service descriptions to be used that will allow users to search and match to any part the product/service description. You can choose from a pre-designated list of supplier categories or alternatively write a suppliers description in place of a suppliers category to allow users to match search results against any part of this broader products/services description.
